This weekend I have been...

...up a mountain & mostly breathless!

Just spent the weekend with Sal's parents in the Alps - it was georgous!
Quick flight to Geneva, followed by a drive into the mountains to find ourselves in the middle of the French Alps at their lovely 5 bedroomed home. It's absoluting amazing up there, only 2 other buildings and the mountains to be seen. All very remote but absolutely amazing. The house/chalet itself is also wonderful, with all traditional wooden surroundings, great views of the mountains and some gorgeous home grown/cooked foods provided by Shirls and Roger!
Will definitely being going back there again - if they'll have us!

P.S. Mostly breathless, cos I was suffering from pneumonia.... unbeknown to anyone (including me) at the time!
