1 week to go!!

Where has the time gone?? I've got SO much to do before we set off for Honkers & Oz next Friday, but hey, I thought I'd use my time wisely and update my blog!!! Deerrrr!!

So I've had 2 completely sleepless nights this week - what's that all about?? Literally had about 3 hours sleep on both occassions and that was from 7-10am!! My brain is just whizzing about all sorts of stuff, but the majority of it is sheer excitement, things to do for my 30th party (call caterers, book DJ, bar man, wording for invites), things to sort for my new tenants at Westbury Rd (they move in the day after we depart!), arranging my 'magnet' order, getting my pills and jabs (Vit D & B12) up to date before we go, getting my legs waxed (a major priority now - they are SOO hairy, I can't stand it any longer!!) picking up contact lenses, packing, etc. etc. Too much to dooooooo!! Oh and work, I'm fitting that in too!

Last weekend was a bit crazy for me - so much for taking it easy, I ended up out and drunk on Friday and Saturday night! Friday bought Al out for the evening, so that in itself justified a celebratory drink or two! We all ended up in the Brewery Tap, followed by the Swan, then Sakura. I would have been fine if Manda and I hadn't started on the Raspberry Sambukas!! We had a good old giggle, shared some gossip - well she shared some details about a certain person, and I just opened my mouth and put my foot in it generally! Ha ha! Ended up home and passed out by 2.30am, knowing full well that I was due to be out again the next night, whoops!

Got up around 1pm on the Saturday, felt remarkably good considering but after about two hours out of bed I started flagging. Managed to drag myself to the city for a girly dinner in Pizza Express with Kate, Sal and Claire, then went on to Narrow Street for Robin & Claire's engagement party. After the 2nd double vodka and cranberry I was well away again! A good time had by all, with plenty of singing and dancing all round.

Sunday bought the usual morning with Sal, Claire and I in our pjs watching Hollyoaks, and other C4 trash for the morning, lunch and afternoon! We finally got dressed at 4 in order to go to the Whelan's for a delicious roast cooked by Nick. The wine was opened and soon enough everyone was 'pickled' again, except me, who ended up taxi-ing everyone home in Dan's 3 litre convertible BMW - lush!! love it!! I want one!!!

This weekend I'm supposed to be taking it easy and packing and prep'ing for the trip..... somehow I've been talked into dinner with Nick, Lou, Dan, James and Claire, followed by Sam's or Sugarhut - uh oh!

Anyway, better get back to organising my life!
